LiveBallot is an easy, one-stop MOVE act solution. We understand each jurisdiction has specific needs when it comes to voter information and ballot delivery. As a result, we have developed LiveBallot to be highly customizable with an array of optional turn key features. LiveBallot is a part of Democracy Live's Voter Information Platform which goes beyond the MOVE act requirements empowering jurisdictions with the ability to provide accessible voter information in a variety of formats.
The content is accessible to all voters, including those with disabilities. The Democracy Live online voter information wizard has received the highest approval ratings for Section 508 A.D.A. compliance by the Center for Disabilities and members of the American Council for the Blind.
LiveBallot is backed by the Microsoft Azure Platform which consists of some of the most secure facilities of any kind, electronically and physically. Between an optional 256-bit SSL encryption layer to enhance data transfer security and the capability to add voter access restrictions, LiveBallot is ready to meet your specific security needs.
LiveBallot has been deployed in multiple jurisdictions using a wide variety of voter registration and ballot systems. LiveBallot was designed to handle any standard data format (ASCII, .txt, .csv), given the wide range of elections technology in use and the wide range of technical expertise of the users.
LiveBallot is accessible through a URL that may be linked from any external site (e.g. a state’s existing elections portal). Through the LiveBallot configuration pages, you determine which voters can access their ballot and which method they need to use (ie. name and birthdate, address, pin number).
We have developed a highly customizable online interface for delivering ballot return information, affidavits, envelope instructions, etc. to the voter. We believe that there is no one way that will satisfy all jurisdictions and certainly, they will have different legal requirements in regard to ballot return.
